In this article, which is very informative, it talks about the increase in homeless population. It mentions that thirty-three of the fifty states have reported that the homeless population has increased greatly in the past couple years. The National Alliance to End Homelessness helped me develop some of my opinions and helped me understand the homeless situation in the US. It showed me how serious the problem was and how homeless relocation has not been a help to the homeless.

This article is an example of homeless relocation in the extreme situations. On almost all the Hawaiian islands there is a large homeless population. Hawaii is one of biggest tourist destination states in all of the USA. Tourists are the biggest money source for all of Hawaii. Because of the homeless people, Hawaii loses tourist attraction. Since Hawaii is made up of islands, the solution they have come up with is to send homeless back to the United states mainland.

This article was very informative. It focuses on the incident of the police removing the homeless camp from the Adeline median. Near the end of the article, the perspective is broadened and the the author talks about the problem of homelessness as a whole in Berkeley. I was able to get information about how the police relocate homeless camps. The text helped me to write about the problems with how the operation is done.

This article was probably the most resourceful with my essay because it gave you information on why the law was  passed and who was funding the relocation program. It also gave us plenty info on why people thought the law would be affected and where the homeless should be sent

This article is a very clear example of how city leaders will enforce police to go into the city to find homeless people, and send them into the next city over. This specifically talks about how in Albany they had the police go into the bulb, and force the homeless population over to the Gilman off ramp. They were relocated into a place with worse living conditions. Now over thirty homeless people are dwelling under the freeway at the off ramp. This article was very helpful and showed us what really happens in these situations
